WHAT IS THE PROFESSIONALS INTENSIVE?

Learn valuable new skills for supporting parents and children, consistent with the latest developmental neuroscience research. Join the eight-week intensive course in Parenting by Connection offered by Hand in Hand Parenting.

Parent-child connectedness is increasingly the focus of parenting programs. Parenting by Connection offers the “how to” – practical tools that parents and caregivers can use to strengthen and repair their relationships within and around their families. It shows parents how to build emotional safety with their children. From that base, the approach puts limit setting in the centre as a key tool for connection and change. We also offer parents practical, sustainable and affordable ways to get the emotional support they need in order to parent the way they really want to. Parenting by Connection is an attachment based, relationship focussed, trauma informed approach to parenting. You can learn more here.

WHAT WILL I GET FROM THIS COURSE?

  • Expertise in the Parenting by Connection approach. You will practise the Listening Tools in your own family and in your professional practice.
